About the Role

The Project Manager role is a combination of project manager, labor coordinator, and tier 1 helpdesk responsibilities.

This individual will be responsible for working with sales associates to execute the successful hand-off of projects once a purchase order is received. The Project Manager will then be the central hub for the effective gathering and passing of communications between the various stakeholder parties. They will also be responsible for scheduling various internal and external resources to ensure the successful, on-time execution of the project.

The Project Manager will be the initial point of contact for incoming emails and calls for service, for new, existing, and contract-based customers. When relevant, this role will use existing documentation to assist the customer with basic troubleshooting and scheduling appropriate technical resources if the initial steps are unsuccessful. For contract-based customers, tracking of specific metrics will also fall under your purview. On-site visits may be required.

Responsibilities

·        Directing project communications to the proper resources for efficient and timely workflows

·        Gathering relevant documentation for projects in potentially dynamic environments

·        First tier response for remote customer support as necessary

·        Scheduling and coordination of installation and service resources to maintain effective, proper utilization

·        Other relevant duties as assigned

·        The Project Manager reports to the Director of Technical Operations

Requirements

·        Superior customer service skills

·        Maintain organization of scheduling and documentation for multiple projects and service calls simultaneously

·        Ability to read AV system technical drawings and provide basic troubleshooting steps to customers

·        PMP preferred

·        AVIXA CTS preferred
